Watch D.O.G.S Program

The goal of the WatchD.O.G.S. program is to help every school be positively influenced by the committed involvement of fathers and father figures in the lives of students. The D.O.G.S. in WatchD.O.G.S. stands for Dads of Great Students. The WatchD.O.G.S program is a K-12 program that is approved by the National Parent Teacher Association.

The time spent as a WatchDOG will be direct contact with students.  A typical WatchDOG day:  greet students at arrival, be part of the morning news show, spend time in classrooms, talk with students at lunch and at recess, spend more time in classrooms, and assist with departure of students.  The WatchDOG wears a WatchDOG dad T-Shirt, and the children of the WatchDOG also get to wear a special t-shirt on the day their dad is a WatchDOG.  We will have two or three WatchDOG dads in the building on Wednesdays through the remainder of the current school year.
